Dybly has built an IP position for three projects:
DYB186: Oral drug for cholesterol elimination and reduction of atherosclerosis
Development stage: Proof of concept/Lead optimization.
The goal of the therapy is to stimulate the body to produce more ApoA1 which leads to cholesterol elimination and reduction of atherosclerosis.
The lead compound in this program was shown to increase ApoA1 expression and cholesterol elimination after oral administration in a transgenic animal model expressing human apoA1.
The use of the drug class is covered by granted US and EU patents. The development candidates are protected by additional patents.
DYB286: Reduce MI with novel form of proven antiplatelet
This development project seeks to secure the international development of a very effective antiplatelet.
The first form of this compound has only ever been registered in a single country - we think undeservedly so. Thanks to a novel form which improves absorption, this product benefits from fresh patent protection and promises to help patients worldwide.
DYB143: Targeted treatment for intermittent claudication
Development stage: Preclinical.
This targeted therapy prevents constriction of the arteries at the site of atherosclerotic plaques and improves muscular efficiency.
The drug will be a patent protected combination of two compounds with established effectiveness and complementary mechanisms. One of the two products combined benefits from additional patent protection. Dybly owns all relevant patents to this development.
Dybly is interested in selling or licensing the relevant assets to pharmaceutical companies.
